Compared to metal screen plates, polyurethane screen plates exhibit superior wear resistance. Polyurethane materials demonstrate good corrosion resistance to media such as water, oil, acids, alkalis, and salt spray, making them suitable for corrosive environments.

Their high damping characteristics help reduce noise during the screening process and mitigate the structural impact of equipment vibration.

Polyurethane has a lower density, and its lightweight design reduces the load on the screening machine, thereby lowering energy consumption. Polyurethane screen plates typically feature a modular design for easy replacement.

Although the initial cost is higher, their service life is generally 2-3 times that of metal screen plates, helping to reduce long-term maintenance costs.
